About Houston GOOOH Meetup - A new NON-PARTISAN political party!

GOOOH stands for 'Get Out of Our House' and is pronounced like the word 'go'. It is a plan to evict the 435 members of the U.S. House of Representatives and replace them with everyday Americans just like you.

GOOOH enables you to do three things you can't do today:

1. Run for Congress, all expenses paid!
2. Select who appears on your Congressional district ballot
3. Fire unreliable Congressmen

The GOOOH system invites Americans to participate in the selection of their district's candidate as well as becoming a candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives themselves. Politicians, lawyers, and individuals whose family has assets valued at more than $11.5 million (250 times the median income) are not invited to participate. We have excluded those three groups because they are overly represented in government today and, generally speaking, they do not represent the average man.

GOOOH is a political party, but it does not have a platform. People of every political leaning are encouraged to participate. You and your peers will determine which views are most appropriate for your district. We expect a very liberal candidate to be selected in San Francisco and a very conservative one in Colorado Springs, but it will be up to the people who participate in the system to decide.
